Regarding commission work

“My sets are not conventional carbon copy collections as an aesthetic. Each piece will have its own identity and you are welcome to create a set from these existing works. Understanding that there will be slight nuances in the form between items will allow you to visualize how the sets will turn out. Each of my commissions is completely unique and you will have a special one of a kind collection of my work.”

Commision Price Guide

  • Clay Body $10-$20

The clay I use affects the pricing of my pottery. Higher quality clays, which offer better durability and unique features, cost more. This choice ensures you receive a piece that's not only beautiful but also long-lasting, making it a valuable investment.

  • + Glaze Type $4-$8

The glazes I choose play a significant role in pricing. Premium glazes, offering richer colors and more dynamic finishes, often come at a higher cost. This investment in quality glazes ensures each piece is not only visually stunning but also enduring, adding value to your purchase.

  • x Scale & Complexity 1-10

The size and complexity of my pottery pieces influences their price. Smaller items like shot glasses take less time and materials, making them more affordable. On the other hand, larger pieces, like 18” tall Onggi pots, require more clay, glaze, and up to 1-3 days of dedicated craftsmanship, justifying a higher price. The scale of each piece reflects the amount of time, effort, and resources invested in its creation.

  • x Number in Set 1-8

The more items in a set, the higher the price, reflecting the increased time and materials needed to create a cohesive collection.
